About This Role

Product / Business Intern

Snippe is building next-generation digital payments and commerce tools for Africa. We're looking for an intern to help shape our product, grow our community, and onboard merchants.

What You Will Do

Market & Product Research

  • Research Tanzania's digital payments market (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, banks, fintech startups)
  • Identify gaps, opportunities, and user pain points
  • Analyze competitors and write short reports for the team

Merchant & User Onboarding

  • Help create onboarding guides for merchants and users
  • Write step-by-step tutorials and FAQs
  • Help design onboarding emails, landing pages, and documentation

Content & Documentation

  • Write product documentation for Snippe
  • Create website content (About, Features, How it Works)
  • Help with blog posts, case studies, and product updates

Partnerships & Community

  • Help identify potential partners (developers, merchants, schools, startups)
  • Manage community groups (WhatsApp)
  • Collect user feedback and summarize insights for the team

What We're Looking For

Skills

  • Good writing in English (Swahili is a plus)
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Basic understanding of fintech or willingness to learn
  • Social media and communication skills

Bonus (Not Required)

  • Studying business, economics, marketing, or technology
  • Experience with Canva, Notion, Google Docs, or Figma
  • Interest in startups, fintech, or tech communities
